A dog walker brings a husky (all-time best doggos in the world - change my mind!) back from the dog park and finds its “owner” dead in the bathroom. What I loved most about Sleeping Dogs Lie is how the compact length of the novella cut all the fat and allowed the author to deliver one taut plot. I mean, if I’m at a buffet I’m going to eat, mkay? ![]() The “Audible Plus” catalog comes with many short exclusives like this, and based on this one I’m going to try to cram in a few more before my time is up. So many cool kids on Goodreads have been listening to this Audible Original novella written by talented suspense author Samantha Downing that I had to sign back up for an Audible trial so I could join them. I came for the dogs, stayed for the mystery, then CHEERED for the ending. ![]()
